which part are you having trouble with?

these the one bolt that keeps the tension and thats it.

if your trying to get the whole bearing/bracket off, take the bolt out and it will slip out. may need a small amount of prying

Its a 10mm long 12 pointer double hex socket that you are after.

I.e. pretty much any 10mm long socket.

10mm short series 3/8"drive Repco socket will do it, or multi point 10mm spanner.

Tim is refering to a gze one which has the needle for setting ignition timing. You need a long 10mm 12point socket in either 3/8" or 1/2" drive. This also comes in handy for removing the Cam bearing caps with the studs, although would rather a 6point on those ones and also head bolts (kinchrome 10mm 12point in 1/2" is perfect for this). It also allows you to use a torque wrench when putting it back together (unlike a regular 12point ring spanner).

yer on mine i got a 3/8" 10mm socket and a 3/8" to 1/2" adapter. so i could use my 1/2" torque wrench on my headstuds.

hey tim do you reckon you could take a picture of what you are talking about? (send if via pm if you like, or post it here whatever)

the other guys seem to know what your talking about, im just curious as to what the difference is between the 4agze and 4age. like what is this needle thing that nikojoe is referring to.

the 4age bigport one is just a 12 sided 10mm from what i remember, just used the 10mm from my standard socket set.
