    people,i dont post much at all but its late and im bord so i figured ill do my best to share with youz my ae71 sr20det project wich i am very over, ill do my best to post pics im not to familiar with posting stuff!,

    engine : S15 sr20det , arias 40thou over sized pistons , scat H beam steel rods, clevite77 bearings threwout, minor mods to oil pump and oil galleries, 70 thou (1.7mm) cometic steel head gasket, head is mildly ported non polished i couldnt be farked,850cc sard injectors, everything balanced and wot not, lash adjusters have been moded, (i cant leave anything standard), heaveir double valve springs, cams and bla bla bla, theres so much crap that i dont remember but hopefully you guys get the picture, head studs etc

    custom steam pipe manifold heat rapt, carrying a Gt3076DBB turbo with a 44mm external gate, braided oil and water lines.

    intake is ebay plenum match ported, fitted with a ebay 75mm I.d throttle body,3inch allu intercooler pipes going to and from a 60x300x100 thick cooler. Autronic SM4 is the brain for the engine,
    Orc super single clutch kit and steel flywheel, behind that is a s14 5speed box , custom 1 piece tailshaft , R31 shortened LSD diff with billet axels billet bearing ends etc, Vl turbo pick up pump into surge tank in boot then a bosch motorsports high pressure main pump feeds the engine thru a 10mm feed line and 8mm return customised to fit ae71, brakes are standed disk r31 rear with working handbrake, and front is F6 typhoon 328mm disk rotor fitted with a Vx v8 holden caliper, struts have coil over kits fitted with king springs, rose jointed adjustable trailing arms and rose panhard adjustable rod, rays 17x7 upfront 17x8 on rear, bucket seats up front, pajero 1inch brake master cylinder to pull the car up!
    i was supposed to put a standard sr in it but things got out of controll! i began building the eninge b4 i bought the car when i was a appreantice mechanic bout 3years and 10 months ago, then along came the car and slowly in spare timeput things together and now if been license tradesman 2 years, and all thats remaining is airfilter box and rear muffler then engineers certificate and rego, i wanted to also know how much could i sell this car for the way it is? 90%completed? just curiuos!!!

    should deffinatly go hard with that motor , i really dont see the point in selling if your 90% of the way there , save your money and finish it and enjoy it , unless your in desperate need of money.

    your not wrong, sumtimes i think i should get rid of it and get onto bigger and better things but wen i see a rolla on the road then i wanna keep it!!! its like a drug!

    are you using s13 xmember or ae xmember, engine sits fair flat??

    im using the stock ae xmember, just cut the old brackets off and welded on some new made up ones to sit the engine as low as possible and as far back as possible to try and keep wieght of the car in the centre!!! cheers

    more pics while it was in the process, excuse da busted finger got it caught in a frikkon hyundai excel thermo fan , i tell ya there sharp as a razor, nearly took da tip if my finger off but luckily for sum toilet tissues and electrical tape it was back in action... untill the wound healed and relised i cant feel the tip of my finger anymore!
