Bleed it again, the last time I did this to my car, I had to bleed all corners twice to get good pedal feel.
yeah the MC looks to be good, newish even.
did you have to replace the master?
i have checked no there is no leaks. so i hope its not the MC.
could be a large amount of air in the lines.
if i can't fix the problem i'll get the mechanic to fix/find the problem when i take it in for a blue slip on friday.

did you bleed the master before you put it in?
no i didn't,
should i have? its 2nd hand not brand new.
do i need a kit to do so? i didn't think i needed to?
i can bleed it while its in there right?
sorry about all the questions, i'm a noob with brakes, though i've
gotten this far.
Should be able to bleed it in the car. One more thing to note, start from the caliper which is furtherest away from the MC, then the next furtherest and so on.
Also would be wise to pick up a few bottles of brake fluid as it can take quite a bit to completely get all the air out and make sure to constantly top it up as you are bleeding, without letting it get below a quarter empty.
All it takes is for it to go empty once and suck a bit of air and you have to start that brake line all over again.
Lol, been there a few times... just a couple more pumps... ok ok, one more pump then i'll top the fluid up, jump up and check, bone dry... fuck
P.S. Will that dog be on the pedal or the bleed valve?
cheers mate, i did empty out once, so i must of not bleed it out enough.
will buy a couple bottle and continue the bleeding.
as for my dog he'll be on the pedal, or i'll replace him with the Mrs once
he gets to tired.
well i bled all 4 corners twice, got a bit more firmness in the pedal.
but still have the initial softness before the brakes finally bite when pushing the brake pedal in.
don't know if its the master, or just a big air pocket in the system somewhere.
so took it in to the mechanic this morning.
will find out this afternoon whats wrong with it.
how did it go i found in my car that my master cylinder had a leak between the booster but there was no fluid leaking out it was air being sucked into the system was a hard 1 to find so i changed every aspect of my brakes to find it also i got a new 1 way valve for the vacuum from the manifold that makes pressure alot tighter
the dyno pull to 300rwkw
BT20v is making 300rwkw like i said i would without nitrous so now its time for some spray and see if she will run a 10s or less
took it for a blue slip 2 weeks ago,
and the brakes passed. but the exhaust was too noisey so it failed!
there is still nothing for the first 2cm or so then the brakes
bite.
there is no fluid leaks, but i'm sure there must be a air pocket
somewhere, i probably should bleed the master.
is there a release valve on the master so i can bleed it?
