far out that came out nice. well done.

i missed out most of those steps when i did mine.....i can see the advantages of taking the doors off, working with them on the car is a pain....thus there are still dents in mine

what kind of paint are you using? since you arent rubbing it back i assume 2-pak or enamel?

enamel in sides coz its easy and will go over almost anything and 2 pack out sides coz i wouldn't use anything else on the out side.
still needs a minor polishing. came out pretty well considering the compressor and the whole spraying out doors.

i for got to add with a compressor like that, be prepared to stop after like 4 strokes and wait for it to refill the tank with pressure or prepared to go really slow with your gun control.

didnt die to much from the 2-pak fumes?

i was gonna go 2-pak, purely for the fact that it was shine off the gun (or close to), but yer was a bit wary of the fumes. but ended up going acrylic (and the fumes were bad enough!), and was to lazy to buff back the clear coat for about 1yr....

I was under the impression that 2 pack doesnt properly harden unless baked and that it is extremely dangerous to spray outside of a booth.

Im just curious as i will be re-spraying my 64 Pontiac Parisienne in the next couple of months, and was planning on using acrylic as i had been told that you cant get a decent finish with 2 pack unless it is sprayed in a booth (and also cause im a tight ass lol). I have also been told that 2 pack is considerably harder to paint than acrylic, did you find this to be true?

    Cheers

^ He didn't. 2-pack dries fine without an oven, it just takes a while for the paint to *completely* harden.
