MrA, how about some ideas for how to paint in this weather we have atm....
Which reminds me, need to see you about some paint for the Spoontarse.
dont cold weather sucks hahaha
Haha, yeah tell me about it. Thinking of doing the engine bay with some left over enamel i have. Will use the 2000w bar heater, 3000w of halogen lamps and the heatgun.
enamel will dry super quick in any weather. and with the added arsenal of heating instruments you have. it should dry pretty well for you.
Can you get Wet and Dry in velcro backed discs? Ive been looking around and cant find squat in wet and dry.
yeah norton do them and so does 3M. you will find most of the quality brands will have a wet and dry velcro back why do you want to use it wet for? just wet rub with 800 before paint. it will cost you alot less. there like $50-$70 for a box of 50 soft back or 100 flat disc.
Just for cutting back bog and the like. Pads im using now are getting quite clogged with the fine paint/bog dust.
use a course 40-80 grit disc for cutting the bog back a little bit. but then you will have to use a block with finer paper to get it flat.
Yeah, using a 120 atm as that is all i had. Will try and find some 40. Not big areas of bog, just filling all the bolt holes in the engine bay...
