    Default KAAZ LSD's

    Product - Kaaz LSD's

Model Specific - ae86 Zenki + Kouki - Other model available on request.

    Info:

Kaaz limited slip differentials are designed to be a hardcore motorsport product with great driveability, but no compromise. The most important factor in determining how much torque an LSD can transfer, is the friction area between the clutch plates. The greater the friction area, the better the plates grip and therefore the more torque the LSD is able to transfer without slipping. Since friction causes heat, the Kaaz LSD also makes use of the maximum allowable plate sizes in order to distribute the heat evenly so the plates don’t overheat. The other key factor is that Kaaz uses a larger number of clutch plates than many LSDs and these clutch plates are of a high precision forged construction making them very light weight and tough. All this adds up to an LSD that is bullet proof and can consistently transfer power to the wheels time after time, allowing the driver to get the most from his vehicle

What is the difference between a 1, 1.5 way or 2 way Limited Slip Differential ( LSD ) ?

These numbers refer to the operation of the cams within the Limited slip differential. A 1 way diff only provides lock between the wheels whilst accelerating. In a 1.5 way diff, there is a degree of lock during braking, as well as under acceleration. The braking cam is half the size of the acceleration cam - hence the term 1.5 way. This provides a degree of improved balance during braking, but with less effect than a 2 way LSD.

In a 2 way LSD, the braking cam is the same size as the acceleration cam, providing more lock under braking. This provides the most stability and balance under braking, although it can induce some understeer in corners.

Finally, no-one takes quality control more seriously than Kaaz.
The Kaaz concept is to employ the best materials, the most advanced machining techniques and the highest quality control standards.

NOTE: ALL LSD's will come with a FREE 2 Litre can of KAAZ Genuine LSD oil. valued at $95!! FREE

Depends on what the F-Series is out of. Tarago they need a spacer ring, but the MS112 crown ones dont and they bolt straight in.

Well, according the the F-Series discussion thread... thats what the word is.
