Default Hilux 4 Pot brake upgrade.

this thread is quite simple ...
whats needed for the hilux 4 pot upgrade?

    obviously the calipers

what disk's do you use for it, are they a fully floating disk or disk & hub assembly?
will you need a better brake master cylinder? ( mines already upgraded but for all those who's arnt)
who can you get the caliper brackets from or have you had some made?
what struts are you running them on?
what size wheels will you need to clear them. the standard hilux wheel is a 15" rim ... but can you fit 14''s?

how many different ways can this upgrade be done

what was your total cost doing this.

where are good places to get the required parts?

alright if anyone can see anything else that should be added to the list let me know other wise go nuts and let us know what you got.

    ok

    • XT130 Struts and Hubs
    • Peugot 604 Discs (DBA272 or equiv.) machined down to 266mm in diameter
    • Hilux/Landcruiser 4-spot Calipers (LN106)

the calipers will bolt straight to the corona strut

well that sums it up mainly ... good job on that find ... now comes the trial and error part for all of us. also i have the pajero master cylinder ... featured in the link ... very good and easy to do ... but you NEED a fitting from a ford laser linx for this ... in the link its the goldish part on the front of the master cylinder
