    Default ae86 vacuum problems

    car = 1986 toyota sprinter

    problem = is vacuums lines alot are blocked and looking for rite way to fix it
    at stock idle it idles at 1500rpm

    would like to know if it rite or not because i dont want to mod an engine that not running stock rite

    some are meant to be blocked


    and 1500 sounds a little high for me(unless you had a HUGE cam)

    dont have a huge cam engine is stock so any ideas why it would be so high?

    it probably has an air leak after the throttle body, that or the idle screw needs to be adjusted

    but those lines that are blocked are cold start idle up, they always get blocked off when 4age conversions are done, you dont have to have them connected.

    i would block that pipe that is supposed to be connected to the PCV properly......electrical tape isnt ideal

    the hose coming off the plenum, by the looks, its just taped up and hanging next to the rocker cover

    i just rechecked just now and u are correct it is no connected and just taped up

    what is a pvc and were is it located?
