Only place you'll get off the shelf stuff for Miras in general is Japan. There's plenty of coilover kits available so long as you're willing to fork out for them. Pretty much all the Daihatsu kei-car struts are the same dimensions though, so most of them are interchangeable. The rear dampers will vary depending on which model you've got.

Dropped the front end down a bit more to match the rears better. Need to fix the camber on the passenger side though. Bought some other goodies for it today though.

New engine for my Celica. Should have plenty of space in the engine bay now.

Oh this is your car!? Can you explain the missing wheel nut on the front left? I was pondering this on Monday night...

Yeah, I fixed that today. Basically, someone has snapped the stud at some point and replaced it with something similar, but not the same. The thread doesn't go right down to the base of the stud, so when I went to put the nut on initially, it would hit the end of the thread and bind before actually making contact with the wheel (albeit, just). I put a 3mm thick washer on it today and all is good.

    A couple of weeks later...

Just need to sort out making an intake manifold mainly, so I can dummy up the throttles and actually do the wiring properly. Then fuck around with the fuel system, since being originally carbureted means the hard fuel lines are tiny and there is no facility to install an in-tank pump, so I've got to mount an external pump and upgrade the lines to 8mm stuff throughout. Might go pull some lines out of an L200 and bastardise those to work. The fuel rail also needs modification as they run a return-less setup standard.

Thankfully though, the fuel system is most of the work left to do. The manifolds are pretty straightforward and the wiring is just tedious. Fun times ahead.

    The motor died.

Will be stripping the front end down completely, painting the bay and re-assembling the lot with the new motor. Estimated finish date is around the end of October.
