    Default Multiple email update error

Here's a head scratcher for you. I get a few email updates from same thread, but only one post repeated. This isn't for every thread I'm subscribed to, only some and it might be 2 emails for one thread and 5 for another... (I thought maybe becuase I was logged on in multiple locations as I switch between laptop and PC I somehow received multiple updates?) Not that big a deal, but usually means there's twice as much spam from AE86dc in my inbox as usual

Every time you view the "newest" post in a "subscribed" thread, you get a new "notification" email. Unless you change the notification settings in your user CP.

    Has always been this way

So why did I get 2 notification emails for your post above, and 3 emails for one I replied to yesterday about the same time?

Are you using forwarders on your email account?

First complaint i've ever heard of this so far. So i'm wondering if its us, or you. Most likely your email...

Not forwarding, and same email account I've always used. Only really noticed this in the last month or two.
I'll take note of the threads it occurs with and see if a pattern develops, then over to you my dear Watson

I reckon it's either to do with my email or because I switched ISP's between ADSL cable & wireless becuase it's happens randomly.

One way to test it, would be to change to using a different email address...
