if its the original diff it's a T series, count the amount of bolts/studs holding the center in and post it here
well, i just bought an ra60 celica, and was told that he replaced the original t series with a locked t series, (as far as i know t series diff's came standard in ra60, someone correct me if im wrong).
i took it to a suspension shop, and they had a look around, there was no rear sway bar, and from what we could see, there wasn't even a mounting bracket's for the sway bar on the diff.
so what im asking, how do i know for sure that it is a t series diff, and what's the deal with sway bar's in ra60's??
thanks

it wasnt the factory diff that he welded, he found another diff, welded that and told me it was a t series.
i counted 10 just then.
well T series do have 10 bolts, so maybe there was a version that bolted in that had no anti-roll bar? unless someone forced an early T18 diff in there. Anyway the brackets are available aftermarket off the shelf if you want to get someone handy to weld them on.
Could it be a RA40 one? I think they used T series and had no swaybar mounts?
