    Default T50 bolt up to 4K?

    Hey all, curious if the t50 gearbox will bolt up to the 4k in a ke70.

    no but you could cut up the k50 bell housing to make it bolt up i guess

    There is a T50 -> K block bellhousing. Rare and off something weird like a KE38. So it can be done if you are hell keen.

    But essentially, no you can't do it.

    there is a hydraulic clutch version and cable t-k bellhousing. Cable is ultra rare.

    hmm not that keen really, was just interested as going from an auto ke70 but not going to 4age just as yet. Might just do manual conversion when i do the 4age.

    yeah mays well wait otherwise u will be buying not only two gear boxes but two pedal boxes also

    unless u can get it cheap and do it ur self

    The ultra rare T50 for a 4K is a listing I had found in a old Toyota parts list catalog I have. I think it was for one of the first "SR-5" corollas in 1974. The Celica 5-speed (T50) was available, but the K50 had not yet been developed. This listing only lasted for a month or 2 of production, and it was for another country, not Australia. No one in Australia has ever seen it.

    7k townaces have w series gearboxs....
    pretty useless for a 4k though.
    A few people on rollaclub have T50 to k bellhousings.
