    Default Interior pics Page 4

    Hey guys.

Interior now DONE !!!! New pics Page 4

Long story short, I managed to find a rust free, 2 owner vehicle, so i simply had to have it. The factory air-con even still works lol

Given that i have no plans of taking this thing on track etc, it is perfect for me. It would be a waste to find such an original rust free car and risk bending it at QR etc. And as an added bonus, as a street car, i can keep the trusty old 4AC.

    Plans are to :

1: freshen it up with a respray in silver, current paint is faded to hell.

2: possibly a full bodykit (Depending on funds),

3: retrim interior in simple greys/blacks etc (less is more),

4: replace the blown out muffler,

5: Sort out the suspension, King lows with some shocks.

    6: 15" superlights

7: maybe even fit some smoked aftermarket tail lights.

Other than that, there isn't much else, just the usual things to tidy up and make it comfortable for driving.

    On with the pics

    Enjoy

Got any suggestions? I have been messing with Nissans for the past ten years, so I would love to hear your ideas.

I have drifted an AE71 at QR in DRY weather (3rd gear) ........it was fitted with a 4AC, stock exhaust etc etc. That same car went on to win comps at Archerfield with the same engine.

I am confident for the skidpan 4AC is plenty................

i am just stating that because i have owned two 86s with 4ac and imo they were relatively sluggish and boring for street, let alone skidpan or track. this is why i opted for the 4age with more power and for street use still returns good economy. with having said that best of luck with it, if you can use it successfully as you stated thats great.
and im glad some people find my posts humorous. as im sure alot of people would agree its quite an average engine.

aaron, Don't get me wrong, I totally agree with you. The 4ac is a Boat anchor. However, it is perfectly suited to what this car is going to be used for.

Do keep in mind that I have "been there done that" with fast / high powered cars. I am getting old and just want a cruiser now Slow is fine by me

Update: The front end is apart...... eg: panels, lights, bar etc etc.

Hoping to get the engine out over the weekend if time permits. This will then allow me to get that engine bay resprayed

Once that is done, engine/box back in and running. Then it is time for the rest of the car to get a fresh coat of silver Once I have managed to do something of any great importance I will upload some pics. At this stage all the pics I have taken are purely to document the lack of rust etc.
