Default The 'this didn't go according to planned' car.

    yep.
so, as some of you know, i sold my gze levin last week in search of a bedford or transit van from the 70's 80's for practicality reasons.
purely because i could fit a huge bunch of shit in the back, and not have to worry about damaging it (if it came to that).

anyway, so i went and bought the quokka (local WA classifieds) and low and behold 'ae86 trueno for sale'.

    ah crap.
i had to go check it out (initially with no serious intention of buying it) then yeah, it turned out to be Tull86's old ride from the forums (Thanks Tull ).
so, after an evening of deliberation and a few short text messages, i ended up with this parked in my driveway:

    1984 Toyota Trueno Coupe.
    77,410 genuine kms
    Closed door respray in white
    Completely stock footwork
Set of 14x6.5 or 7j Watanabes
    Trd Leads
Back seats removed (still have in the garage) and registered as a 2 seater
    Muffler of some kind
    Full RunFree Kit
Kouki bits and pieces here and there

My aim for the car is to modify it simply (shocks, springs, wheels) and maintain it's excellent condition.
    Going back to basics.
    Rudimentary 86'ing.

Removing kit, and replacing with kouki F + R bars.

It's very nice, and although it didnt meet my initial criteria (practicality), it's hard to say no when the chance arises.

So here is some more pictures:

dopest shit ever, like air jordans, but way more awesome.

I hope you are all able to see the potential this car has, like i can.

already sailed the dirty shitty ae86 ship.
fair to say my palette has matured when it comes to ae86's.

this one will remain mint. there will be no 'no return' modifications. only simple, aesthetic brilliance
    thanks!

If this was unplanned man, love to see what you can do when shit's organised!

Even though I hate you todd, I'll happily admit I like this car.
