done some test fitting today and it looks as if the tunnel will have to be raised by about 30mm or so. Wish i bought a non remote shifter because the one i have is about 60mm back from the original hole. I know you can convert them to a non remote style shifter but ive heard it may be a pain, will have to research it more.

Anyways here's how it will look sort of.

Will get the angle grinder out tomorrow and make some sparks fly

may be some one asked you before... but from where did you bought the bell housing from? are they the same bolt pattern as the early VR4/Evo 1 2 3 block?

first page fiirst post, as i found out the hard way earlier evo/vr4 is different to the later model 4g63. When ordering a bellhousing you have to be very specific/clear on what motor you have otherwise you may get sent the wrong bellhousing because of the fact they are called differently over in the states. Other than that Bill is an excellent old character to deal with and sends you everything you need to make a conversion easy.

    who is Bill?
hey by the way, i've been using the same Cusco silvia front suspension setup in my ex-Ke70 as well. just in case if you are unaware of, that set of suspension will set your KE70 way too low at the front. i've been using 185/60R14 tires and it has already tuck the tyre into the fender... at the end i have to use a dodgy way to rise the front while maintaining the correct ride height. but if it is track only car, it will be great way to lower the front.. probadly way too low for me... just my 2cents..

btw, do you need to do any machining on the crank in order to fit the pilot bearing as describe in the video?
and also, starter motor should be using stock 4G63?
