There's a guy in the US that claims to have a solid pinion spacer that pretty much puts and end to 6.7 inch diff failures. I have no experience though

Solid pinion bearing spacers are nothing new, drag racers have been using them for years, any diff shop worth their salt should be able to machine up a solid pinion spacer.

Thought the E series was the one to go for?

    Pro's and cons between E and F?

    Differences?

my f series is 20mm wider per side, and came with a 4.1:1 YR22 EFI

you could shorten a diff or my recommendation is doing the guards again, much less exxy and u get a bit of extra track

4.5 and 4.3 are very easy to find if you call a 4x4 wrecker, but mind you they arent cheap, my wrecker want 440 for a 4.5 open diff centre

For anyone in here whos putting in a hilux/hiace diff I've got a 4.5 shimmed LSD that will be for sale if you can find me a 4.1 open centre or lsd to replace it
Will be cheaper than those wrecker prices.

RN41 g-series, you don`t have to shorten it, which costs shitloads, even though the g-series weighs slightly more than some diffs, it makes up for it in strength, selection of ratios. You can get lsds, lockers, air lockers and i have even spotted an electric locker, depends on your finances. I`m pretty sure the hi-lux 2wd bolt pattern is the same as ford 5 stud, but it will cost you about $150 a side to get the bolt pattern changed and they seem to be easier to find than taragos, there is a hi-lux wreckers at Chindera.
While i am a bit biased towards hi-lux diffs, that doesn`t mean that they are they or taragos/ hiaces are the only option there are others, it just depends how much money you are willing to spend and how much research you do on the subject, with regards to ratios 3.9s and 4.1s will be more expensive than 4.5sand 4.8s and upwards because of availability.

konakid e series has a smaller crownwheel and size overall, if u were running more power than a t series can handle go straight for an f!

lockers are mint in f series anyway haha!!!

    i have 4:3
    4;55
and 4;77 f series would love an even lower one!!!!
