Just a quicky.
Got my Tacho now, so I will try to make up a cluster this weekend with all the guages.
Put a mirror in the cluster aswell so you can do your make up.
Well I will be polishing to mirror, the alloy that the gauges will sit in for that vary reason.
You gotta look pretty while sliding....
shit! why did they let me do it then...
hmmm, maybe thats why i was never any good?!?!

^^^Just put some lippy on before you head out. It always works for me
Anyway, made up my cluster this weekend.
I started by taking measurements from a standard cluster and used 3mm aluminum as the backing.
A test fit in a spare dash to make sure the mounting tabs line up.
Then a little arranging to see how many will fit in.
I used a 60mm hole saw and a grinding tip to cut out the holes for the gauges.
In the end I decided to put 3 gauges and the Tacho in the cluster and mount 2 in the air vents on the surround.
When I was happy with how everything fit, I used an orbital sander to sand back the gauge backing and the surround.
So the end product....
It's a little rough, but it will work.
did you check to see how well you can see the guages with the steering wheel in the way before you cut it all out?
I certainly did not :p
I thought about that after I'd finished, but I dropped it off to Ben this morning and test fitted it.
It couldn't be better for visibility with the nardie wheel that I'm using.
Its Commodore Morpheus.
It should have the engine install started on early Jan.
