Default Dry Cell Batery - smallest ?

Just a quick question for anyone that knows...
What would be the smallest dry cell battery I could use in the 86? (or more so in an automotive application in general)
brand/CCA/price if you know these things also..

    Cheers
    Niz.

I have a generic dry cell motorbike battery here which I got for that purpose. $50 at SuperCheap. It's a 15AH. I hadn't tested it yet.

Got another battery the same which was out of a jump starter pack, its at 17AH. Probably on the small side, but may work.

Odyssey are the respected name in motorsport for this, but I'm sure lots of generic drycel batterys made for computer backup and security systems work as well.

yeh I was wondering if a motorcycle battery would have enough juice to do the job...

excuse my noobness here.. but what does 'AH' stand for ?

    Amp Hours.

How big is big enough maybe due to the weather and distance you go from home etc.

You don't see many AE86s on the Japanese sites with a small battery. Maybe due to their cold winters.

For a full N2 setup, I think you can go with no battery at all. Carbies + CDI.

i use a deka brand battery. its the same size as that pulse one you have pictured there. and like the "small" odyssey one. its an absorbed glass mat battery. still fully sealed. and yeah used in jumper packs and boats. $80 at the wholesaler. call me if you want man ill let you know where the shop is, cant remember the road right now, but its on the south side close-ish to where you said you lived.

    amp hours ---- I see..

Well basically I need something dry cell so it can be 'legally' mounted in the car and it has to be able to hold charge for a week and start the car without any dramas... that's about the only requirements.
I want it as small as possible to save weight where ever I can pretty much.
