Parts catalogue shows there the same number but they look different

    PBR lists these numbers:

    ACTUATION Clutch M/Cyl 07/1983 - 12/1985 COUPE, 1.6 LITRE, 15.87 mm , PN = JB1490

    ACTUATION Slave Cylinder 07/1983 - 12/1985 COUPE, 1.6 LITRE, 20.64 mm, PN = JB4149

Thanks Dylan, the slave does look different. I was told that a clutch slave from a T18 is the same as JDM clutch slave can anyone confirm this?

i have the part number listed at work. i know they are available from toyota tho but cost about $80. failing that you can go to somewhere like perth brake parts and they can rebuild it for you. but yes the jdm and adm are different. the bleeder are on opposite sides.

master cylinders can be purchased from pbr and are around the $35 mark. you can just go to repco/whatever and say give me one for an 86 and they will get it for you

however you do need to modify them a bit to get them to work properly.
i found with all the ones i get from pbr you have to cut the thread down and retap about another 1cm worth of thread onto the pushrod. if you dont the pushrod fouls on the clutch pedal before you even get to adjust it up. and even after you do cut the thread down there isnt enough thread to adjust it still
