hey man im painting my interia with vynal die what did you use ,, what did u do to prep it
hey thanx for the intrest, im putting a hold on the wheels as my money has sorta dryed up for now, need new employment, and the gear knob, i made that on the lathe, i still need to paint it though. and in goin 4A-GE bigport eventually.
fair enough mate, its good to see u have added your own little touches to the car ie gear knob. WOW pretty crafty, i was never really a fan of the dildo like gear knobs LOL.
cya man
thanx guys, calknowles, i preped it buy washing it in hot water with degreaser, very thorough clean, then used some septone plastic adhesion promoter to prime them, then just did a couple of coats of very thinned out acrilic black, the thinners help the paint stick as it very slightly 'eats' into the plastic. the gearknob will be black with a glitter sprayed over it. thanx guys.
only p[roblem with the shifter, please don't ever try shifting hard the last thing you want is a shifter snappin in ya hand. looks sick though man, need rims though
yeh, im pretty sure it's strong engough
small update, but an update non the less, i finallygot arround to painting my gear knob, it's now black and very shiny, i sanded it and hi-fill primed it four times, then saned the imperfections out, then base coat black and then topcoat with some hardener to get it nice and shiny

Also i have finally gotten arround to taking my door trims/rear trims to be re-done, when i 1st received them from buddy parts they were ripped and dented and in overall bad condition which wasnt described when i bought them from jay, he wouldnt help with a return or refund so i was stuck with damaged goods. but all new vynil and material in the inserts should make it a littlebit better inside and give it that JDM look so hopefully they'll be done soon.
