I just recently saw this on the VicRoads website:

    Full Link:

So... the way it reads leads me to believe you have to apply for an exemption and the car must be either one of these:

    * turbocharged or supercharged with a power to weight ratio of less than 100kW per tonne
    * turbocharged or supercharged with a power to weight ratio between 100kW and 125kW per tonne and that is considered to be a family type vehicle (4 seats or more) rather than a sports type vehicle. A family type vehicle is a sedan, station wagon or hatch normally used to carry families/passengers with 4 or more seats and are equipped with child restraint anchorages. A family type vehicle does not include a sports car (two door coupe).

On those grounds I think you could get away with a 'rolla but not a 180.

    lol at the vic govenment.

in my few years in vic... i hated p-platers, but the worst offenders were aged 30 to 55.

idiots in the 30 to 55 year old bracket were the most aggressive and "i dont give a fuck" people i have ever seen.

i used to drive a lot in smelbourne, and it got to the stage everyone as a majority was so shit, i felt unsafe, so i quit driving, then decided my next step was "get the fuck out" lol.

as long as the govt is focusing all its energy on the "oh so bad p-platers" then vic has no fucking chance to fix its idiot 30-55 year old drivers.

the sad thing is, those people who are currently 30-55 who dont give a fuck, they are gonna have kids and teach them "ok its 50 zone, but feel free to do like 80" or "oh i know i cut that poor old lady off, but im gonna swear at her"

people need to slow the fuck down.... they just hurry around everywhere like new york fucking idiots, yet the live in a small city that has like 3million(??) people living smalltime lives.... if people in bigger cities i have driven in (soul, tokyo, sydney, for example) can drive properly... why the fuck cant people in melburn ?

my dave hughes style rant is over, i said what i wanted to say, i cbf checking replies... its called venting. lol
