Your Gaylant wagon is next, haha.

    Cheers bud.

I was'nt aware of Ueo's wagon. However I imagine he has probably done shocks and springs, not coilovers. The wheel arches alone simply wouldnt have the structural integrity to have the coilovers mounted to them (therefore supporting the whole weight of the car) unless they were also assisted by the chassis rails in some way.

However I could be completely wrong. Have you got a link/some pictures that I can have a look at? Im very intreigued now as I may have another Panno on the way.

hey matt he's an article of ueo's ride scanned from a japanese mag. Abit difficult to read but if you zoom into the picture you can see what he's done to the car. Basically everything from his 86 put into the wagon and yes he's running rear coilovers.

Where'd you find your t-series? How was it like to fit up? I'm in the same boat as you, gone thru 3 diffs so far in as many months. Sick to death of my Borg Warner! PM me if you'd like.

    Cheers bud!

Yeah, there is another way to do it, much like what Chris has said, however for the coiover to be mounted on the wheel arch you would need a wider diff (hilux) or run big negative offset rims. Un-less the coilovers were pointing outward toward the top.

I have another way planned out that is similar but the strut tower is just on the inside of the wheel arch. If I were to do it again, I would do it this way.

In mine there is still free space from the mid point of the wheel arches to the back door, so it probably still has as much room as a wagon in the back, bit less.

And to KE_OBCT: T series diff actually was given to me by a cop, it originally came from a stolen celica. But yeah, they can be found much more commonly than an S series. Fitting it up was totally my own ideas as I had already cut all the mounts off it for when I had leafs. I dont know if you are talking about doing it in your sedan or a wag/panno but for a sedan I think T series is reletivley bolt in, maybe move one mount I think. And change your tailshaft to one that suits your set up (T to T or K to T, etc.) Or if its in a wag/panno your talking about, you have to cut nd remake mounts, I can help you with this if you need.

I'm curious to know how well the rear suspension set-up actually works.
