    Default The Pannel Van.

A few people have been asking about my car lately so I thought I would post up a run down of my Pannel Van on the new forum.

    Specifications:

    The Body:
1982 Toyota Corolla KE70 Pannel Van.
    Weds "Auto Bahn" 14x6.5 (+5.5) & 7 (-1).
    Tinted windows.
    Plenty of rust.

    The Engine:
    4AGE Bigport.
    JDM RWD intake manifold.
Loom modifyed by Nathan (sprinter86 on the forum).
AE71 radiator with big Camry thermo fan.
    TRD copy extractors.

    Suspension:
    Complete S13 Silvia front end.
    S13 Silvia LCA's.
    Cusco 8kg/mm Coilovers from S13.
    T3 AE86 Camber tops.
    Strut brace.
Completely custom rear leafs made by Hitek suspension in Lilydale (Low and stiff).

    Driveline:
    T50 gearbox.
T series diff from Celica (converted to leaf sprung).
    AE86 Rear sway bar.
    Locker.

Heres some pics in an order of how it all sort of came together.

    When I bought it:

    The parts I acumulated:

    4K coming out:

    The 4AGE going in:

The all important locker (thanks to Albert "Mr. Fujiwara", he done three of mine now):

The wheels went on, and this is how it stayed for a while:

Then the T series got mutilated and put in because I got sick of breaking S series's:

Coilovers and S13 set up then came:

This is how it is now:

    I enjoy lock.

    Still to come:
    Cage.
Roll the front gaurds some more.
    Two buckets.
    Few other things.

    Hope you guys enjoy.

    Wow. This looks way sweet.

Do you slide it? How is the rear end?

    Thanks Marv.

Yeah, it gets slid. Before it was lowered it was a bit shit, lots of axle tramp and body roll. When I added the sway bar it reduced body roll to a reasonable point. I hav'nt had a chance to slide it properly with it lowered, but just doind the odd neighbourhood slide it feels much better, almost no tramp and no roll.

Ill add a panhard soon too, but its going to take a bit of work. Eventually it will be converted to shock and spring, haha.
