Finished all the seam welding that was stopping from doing cage, made the main hoop and backstay footings. Welded in a brace for the equal length boxes, and braced rear shock struts. Made some seat brackets to that sit further back.

The kelway cage is very well made! Sits extremely close to the shell, my gussets will be tiny....

I found this website for marking out tube notches on the rollcage, it is easy as. I just measure the angle for my tube then type them into the computer, print it off, cut the paper out and mark around the tube.

Guessing your fairly tall to have the seat rails back far? Be good to know, because I have the same problem at times haha

haha yeah, about 6,4" plus the pedal box makes me have to sit even further back.

Bit of cage progress, tacked up the half cage. Will pull it out over the weekend and weld it totally up.

What did Kelway charge you for the cage.??
I'm keen to put a decent weld in cage in mine.. not real confindent in the one I have now..
I only need the main hoop and front legs the rest I can do myself..

^^ Thats all I wanted but he provided the rest for cheap.

$850 for main hoop, front legs and eye brow bar bent up and notched. As well as every other straight piece provided and cut to length. Just had to notch all the straight sections myself. Also need to ad postage to that.

You planning to run door bars aswell.??
Would seem the logical thing thing to do..
