Cheers man, you were goin sick at the prac day, I kept spinning in front of you and fooking your runs up. Yeah still got the axles and centre, you can have them if you want? Can bring them to round 3, Was only going to chuck them away anyway.

Welded my equal length box sections in over the weekend, and sat the kit on to give me a bit of inspiration to work on it in the tassie winter....
Also started sectioning out the firewall for the pedal box master cylinders but ran out of welding gas.
note the RHS is just tacked on to keep the boxes square while I welded them in.
looks sweet Im keen to do some work on mine when I get back, I can relate to the cool nights in
the shed lol
Cheers Kieran

Sweet, get that thing up and running, cant wait to see it in the flesh
Havn't done much to the sprinter lately because I've been driving the 180 a fair bit. But have finished sectioning out the floor for the pedal box and mounted it, started on the hydro handbrake and mounted the intercooler. The middle master cylinder goes in between the chassis rail, and there's two sections each side of that because I didn't want cut the rail to much.
nice work with the peddles havnt seen them in a 86 before
the N2 Ae86 from NZ uses them aswell I think
josh young ran a pedal box in his pink/red hatch

oh haha guess i havnt been taking notice lol
Is the peddle box from demon tweaks? I think we got the same one for a little racer - not impressed with it, but leave someone useless in charge and that’s what you get. The accelerator isn't in double sheer and bends like fuck, you really need a stop at the peddle and to weld a gusset or something on to it. We welded a little bit of steel to the top to stiffen it up (see attached), but ideally you want to add another side and put the accelerator pedal in double shear.
It an awesome build! I wish this sort of shit was happening when I was in Tassie!
Cheers, plohl
