Default 20v into KE70.. help needed.

I wanna do a 20v into my ke70 and was hoping you guys could help me out with some of the finer details of the conversion..

I was hoping to run a k50 box to make it alot easier. ( hope slydar still has one

Useing that box saves me changing pedal boxes and tail shaft

What i want to know is what else is required to complete the conversion.

    radiator, hoses, wireing ect.

Also which 20v is the easiest to convert BT or ST
I can't remmeber which is the better one.

    Cheers guys..

not being rude but if your having to ask, it means this is going to be a huge expensive task and alot more than your probably expecting. it also means it may end up parted out with alot of wasted time and money on your part.

Wiring - find a home your happy with for the ecu and cut and shut nessacary wires to extend the loom make it neat, pick up you + feeds and away you go.

Hoses, depending on how you configure you water system will depend on what hoses you use. between google, and catalogues at repco you should be able to adapt something that works well.

Not meaning to sound rude but nearly all the information is out there, spend alot more time searching this forum, toymods and google and then come ask questions when your balls deep on the finer details. something so broad is extremely hard to answer and I don't think anyone here has the time or patience to sit and write out a step by step guide.

bt or st doesnt really matter.

the easiest way to go, keeping budget in mind, is probably a silver top, using an aftermarket computer.

cut out engines are a lot cheap than packages with ecu's/half cuts.

the silver top management isnt really too suitable considering it its uses an afm. and the black top ecu can sometimes be troublesome to get working nicely for other reasons.

using an aftermarket ecu also makes the ignition systems problems easier to sort, as you can change to coil on plug, which allows you to remove the dizzy cap and just use alow profile cover (as you would know, the dizzy will foul on the firewall otherwise)

you will still need some engine brackets and a cross member from an ae86 or ae71.

    your next issue is water.

basically the rear housing on the back of the head needs to be gutted and sealed so water can pass from one side to the other.

a plate over the water outlet at the rear of the head on the side.

the the one at the front can go to the top of the radiator.

bottom one off the back of the pump can then go to the bottom of the radiator, via an external thermostat. there also needs to be a bypass hose from the thermostat to the top water neck.

you should be budgeting around $3500 for everything.

    Thanx Dimitri.

That was more of the answer I was looking for.
Might just go small port or JDM. Seems to be a good easier.

    Still got that gearbox D.?
Any crossmembers too. seein as how you always have the hook ups.
