anyway my question is... i have recently put coilovers in... and im running wheels with the specs 14x6.5 +10 185/60 and the tyres almost scrub against the adjustable rings on my coilovers giving about 1mm of space between, they scrub on full lock, and im planning onputting 15x7.5 -5 with 195/50's im wondering how can i oversome this problem maybe shaveing down the adjustable rings ? just wondering about offset too cause that will bring wheel closer to the rings ?
please help me out want this done just after christmas

the new offset the wheels will be about 1-2mm further away from the struts i reckon.
maybe run 5 or 8mm slip ons until you can work out something better?

so negative offset will bring tyres further away from the adjustable rings on my coilovers ? i thought it would bring it closer ? i must be thinking opposite way of offset then

negative offset will bring it further away, but because your also going for a wider wheel it wont bring it away by much.

    5-10mm
depends on what tyre you are running, but if its a 195/50 on a 7.5 it recon it would be fine. if not just slip on spacers would do the job

yeah trying to avoid spacers as a few people say their dangerous and my dad seen too many mini's in his days with slipon spacers with wheels flying off, still considering grinding down the spring adjusters a few mm, id love 10mm gap but dont realisticly see how im going to get it
