the standard calipers are junk with the mechanical mechanism and dont realy lock up well no matter what, better off with a hydro setup if you want it to work. with the locking up id say seals are aftermarket not genuine and are sticking the caliper on??
maybe the mechanism isnt working correctly?
maybe the place did the cables up so tight to try and make it work that its not releasing the calipers?
maybe there is dirt/shit in the caliper bore and its seizing (had that happen before) hope this helps
