    Default 4AGE Starter Motor

    I have a jdm rwd bigport I think starter motor that is preety rooted. Am looking to replace it with something that works all the time not just when it feels like it. Am in adelaide. Cheers Troy

    probably just better if you get it reconditioned mate.
    most mechanics could do it. better than buying a used one that claims to be "working condition"
    although i do have one here lol (might be cheaper to recon also. like 60bux or so)

    motor traders on grand junction rd is where i just got one for my 4ac its recon but looks brand new and works a treat.

    get yours rebuilt by an auto electrician,

    i got mine done, i swear it spins twice as fast as it did before.

    there isnt much in a starter motor, its just the solenoid or the brushes that are stuffed.

    if your keen you can probably rebuild it youreslf.
