    Default XtOnz Panno

if this doesnt make sense im copying my thread over from h achi roku so its several posts in one

LOL this actually was a donor car for me i only bought it for a heart transplant but i found it to be so clean i just couldnt bare not using it its got a retrimed interior and its been resprayed white although its had a bit of a prang =[ so i bought it without guards and stuff and im slowly puttign it back together again its almost roadworthy =] heres some pics

well i fixed some lil issues like my wiper arms and changed the rubbers on the windshield wipers bolted everything up and wrirted everything together again =] the panelvans ready for a roadworthy well sorta stilll have to fix the rust on the bonnet but its running smooth as =] lol

well i bolted on my inner gaurds and started to work on my cluster so i ripped aqpart the dash and also i tried to check the wiring its pretty dodgy one wire i found (not sure what its for yet) was just twisted together and taped lol and its all cluttered too i managed to figure out why the cluster lights stopped and that somehow the plugs got disconected i put them back in but the tacho still doesnt work i wonder what happend. I fixed the lights but! now the fuel sender doesnt work so instead of lights and tacho its Fuel gauge and tacho =[! damn also tried to bolt the horns back on but its got a bad earth also the timing was advanced heaps like HEAPS HEAPS so i just put it back to normal for now it didnt sound right before. i still suspect a vacuum leak somewhere anyway heres some pics

lol i dont even know where this airbox is from lol at the attempt at a cold air intake

    strippin everything out

damaged bit of the circuit thing paper sheet thing i dont know what its called but as you can see the guy tried to do a bodgy solder to fix it and it worked for a bit but it just broke off =[

    wiring nightmare =[

win + fail all at the same time yo =[

my mate gave me heaps more spares =]

so decided to hang onto the panelvan while i get the 86 cleaned up as i dont want to get red labeld i ran into a problem the other day the pannos fuel pump stopped kicking in so i finally got up off my ass and went to check out the fuel pump issues on the panelvan

lol i hate mud for some reason no matte rhow hot it is during the day the section my panno is parked on is always muddy =[

    for the external fuel pump

    my shitty fuel pump

    pedders shocks

    exhaust

i found no power to the fuel pump on reds so i started chasing wiring i rekon it has something to do with the immobilizer but i wont know till i get another sunny day

Glad you decided to keep this man! hey how well does the Twin Cam Cluster fit? have considered this myself but am unsure of the wiring involved and size, etc in the dash.

heaps has happend to this car i never did get that one colour front end but i fixed my cluster got another flat front end and quadlights shipped from the phillipines slapped it all together added a horn and stuff. basically got the car 100% road legal and now it has 1 yrs rego =] was gonna use it as my daily while i redo my motor in my 86 heres how it sits

my cluster was pretty rooted im using a ae82 twincam cluster the old owner bodged up the print so i modded a 4ac ae82 to fit and it works a treat. although theres no opening for the check engine light and two screws but all works okay
    before

    after

    working =]

the old owner didnt slip the protective plastic washers when he retrimmed the doors so i just grabbed random ones

    before

also gave the car a good buff and polish HUGE difference if you compare the car to the first photo

thats it for now i guess
