Default Blacktop 20v in AE86 with front dizzy conversion – stock leads now too short

As the title states, I have a 20V blacktop with a front dizzy conversion. The problem is the standard 20v leads don’t fit because the dizzy is a now a little further away than it was stock. I am currently using SR20 leads which work fine, but they sit proud of the cam covers and the plastic valley-cover thing wont fit (see pic).

Short of making custom lengthened leads with 20V plugs ($$$$), has anyone had the same problem or know of any other leads that fit?

    Thanks,

Yeah; i was thinking that too. so i'm looking for a cheap second-hand/ used set so i can just pilfer the plugs. Anyone?

Has been hard to find so far, and i dont really want to buy a brand new set from supercheap in case i stuff it up. But it looks like im going to have to...

    Cheers.

Custom Leads should only be around $100-$120? Thats what I paid when I put LS1 Coilpacks onto my RB20.

Custom 20v leads are pretty exy because of how far the tube goes down into the socket.

If you get stuck and custom leads are your option, magnacore leads are worth the $$$ as they have as close as you'll get to a life time warranty. Give them the measurements and they'll make it to length for you.
