    will a t18 t50 bolt up to a 4ac no worries

    you have to change the bellhousing. i also need to know about the splines.... if i get correct 4a bellhousing it'll bolt up yeah???... anyone done this???

    correct, input has the same splines so you only need a tailshaft.

    fuck yeah, thanks biggo, i was a bit worried for a bit, yeah it's for my t-18 so already got tailshaft... now all i need is the 4age.

    so if u get the rite bell houseing and a t18 tail shaft it will all be ok

    front half to match t-18 box, then back hafl of an 86 tailshaft, unless you're running a t series diff, then you jsut want the full t series tailshaft

    makes me wonder why some people dont just purposfully run a T18/ta22 T50s in their drift cars as they are easier and cheaper to source

    thekid: could I suggest a more descriptive thread title in the future? something like "ae86 T50 vs t18 T50" or something like that. It might help people in the fure to find threads in a search thats all. If you could it would be great

    TA22 t50's have a slighly different shifter housing setup and slave on the drivers side. I happen to keep a spare t18 tailshaft tho these days as you cant be sure when one will let go.
