Hey, digging this old one up.
I have an AE71 Panel van that I purchased as a roller.
It has had a major hack job done on the fuse box / engine and body loom.
Its a rats nest under the dash, hacks and chops everywhere from when it was parted out in a previous life.
The engine loom I am not worried about as the motor (BT20V) is run from aftermarket ECU.
Bit that bothers me is the body harness from drivers kick panel, up to ignition, instrument panel / tacho dash and the rest that goes up under dash to passenger side kick panel.
Its a fire hazard waiting to happen.
I have found a KE70 sedan donor car.
My question is, if anybody knows, how does the AE71 body loom differ from a KE70 sedan one?
Can I get away with using a KE70 sedan body loom, or will it be a nightmare to even attempt?

Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks!

I haven't done it but I think you're on the right track with using the sedan loom, I'd imagine you will end up using an ADM instrument cluster instead of the Jap cluster too if that part of the loom differs.

I ended up getting a KE70 High Roof 4 Door Wagon harness.
Everything fits up nicely except the blower / dryer, mine is air con optioned, where as the donor car wasn't.
Doesn't faze me, i'll make it work.

Yep, ADM Wagon cluster wiring is different to the AE71 Van Cluster, that much I am sure of.

I found good info on Toymods

Mine is AE71 High Roof Pano, now sporting KE70 Harness.

So I can just use the Pano Harnes I have as a diagram, all I have to do is switch pins out and match wires up in the three plugs, yeah?
    Or am I missing something.

Through Toymods I msg's Nitephyre and he came back to me with this;-

I am about to go cross reference this with my Pano loom and see if it matches up.
***This does not completely align with my AE71 Panel Van Harness****
Plug 1 (Clear) wire colours are different, positions are incorrect.
Plug 2 (Blue) wire colours are correct, positions are incorrect.
Plug 3 (Grey) wire colours are correct, position doesn't match, however it does match TACHO(AUS) Plug 3?

Since I have used KE70 High Roof 4 Door Wagon harness, I think I go off the
TACHO (AUS) wiring....In other words, I should change the pins in my connectors
to match the TACHO (AUS) pin outs and wire colours?
***My KE70 High Roof Wagon wiring harness does not match up with Tacho (AUS) info***
Plug 1 (Clear) wire colours are correct, positions are incorrect.
Plug 2 (Blue) wire colours differs, positions are incorrect
Plug 3 (Grey) wire colours are correct, positions match TACHO (AUS) connector?

    Just to Clarify,
Is an AE71 High Roof Panel Van ADM...All High Roof's are ADM Yeah?
Is that Right, only Low Roof Panel vans are Jap built.

I think my best bet is what I was going to do first, I'll repin the Wagon loom cluster plugs to match the Van cluster plug wire colours and positions as close as possible, then what ever is left over, I will trace and add from my Van loom to the Wagon loom.
