    Default Handbrake assembly

    Hey Guys

Well me being me, pulled apart my drum hand brake assembly in the MX73,

Does anyone have a diagram of how they go back together.

I get the basic principle, but not sure on the order and what not.

A diagram from any disk overdrum setup would help i imagine

    Cheers

Did you pull apart both sides? If you've only done one side use the other as a referance

    small spring at bottom

adjuster sits in the little [ ] shaped nook the shoes make
big spring goes over or above adjuster
pins go through the back towards the outside of the car and twist locks on
gently hold open while you get the cylinder in
rinse the whole lot with slightly soapy water

slacken handbrake cable right off at the lever inside the car

wind adjuster so that the drums only just go on and when you turn the axle you can only hear the faintest of rubbing noises

take up slack under the car

fine tune at lever inside car.

    drink beer.
