Thumbs up Rear Camber Adjustment System for IRS 80s Toyota's

    Hey Guys,

I recently designed (nothing new really) and got made a weld on application that gives camber Adjustment to 80's IRS Toyota's.

The System Requires you to cut the outer rear low control arm mount on the Subframe (needs to be removed) and weld on the new bracket.

The Use of a offset bolt/washer is used to adjust the camber.

    Supplied in the Kit is:
    - Bracket with a milled section to suit the elongated bolt and tabs to keep the bolt in place when adjusting.
    - 8.8 grade high tensile bolts Machined to suit the Custom CnC washers. Also includes nuts to suit..
-All Welding is TIG and completed by an engineer.
    - Washers and brackets are made from 5m thick steel

    Options
    - With this kit i can change the toe range that can be adjusted (if this is over your head i will provide you with stock) The pictures below bring the toe to neutral at the lower height. Standard toe setting is achieved by machining the elongated hole more towards the subframe.

    Minimum Camber

    At this height for reference

The Kit gives approx 5degrees of adjustment (i think more but yet to get an alignment), The range of adjustment depends on where the bracket is welded. Set square used as reference for camber in pictures

I will get some pictures tomorrow of them installed on my car.

All up the process cost me just shy of $200 in materials, engineer labour and CNC machining. I realise it will cost less the more i get made, I think a fair system is a $100 deposit and the balance when the product is complete before shipping, This will ensure i'm not left out of pocket and the savings are passed on to you.

Post up here if you are interested.

Post up any questions here so other can see.

    Cheers Guys

    No Not the same thing.

I have made the whole system using new parts. Differences between the kits.

My Kit has approx 20mm More adjustment - which means bigger range of camber adjustment.
The other kit requires modification to the bush (the toe bolt being used is bigger than the one used on the outer rear control arm mount) This kit is bolt in and uses the same size bolt. 8.8 Grade High tensile to ensure strength, did not use a higher tensile bolt as they will snap before they bend.

    Cool thanks for clarifying

Might have to hit you up after I fit my wheels if I need to dial out some camber.
