side cutters to take springs off, dont cut them, side cutters just hold em better, then take the pins out that hold the shoes in, they have a little clip that you have to push in and turn. Then take pads off, put new ones on, making sure they are the right way round, put pins in, line up the adjuster, put springs on, put disc on, and keep adjusting till its pretty hard to put the drum back on, so it only just touches when you spin it round. i like to get a garden hose and gently rinse all the old shit out of there, good to get like a dust pan brush and gently brush all the shit out, i normally do wheel cyl while im at it.

yeah to check your wheel cyl just squeeze the little round rubber on the side of it so it makes a small hole, and if brake fluid leaks out, its fucked.
