    Default Voltage

    Hey Guys.

My voltage through my car is reading 15Volts when running, To my knowledge is 13-14 is normal.

Motor is Sr20. Could i have hooked up the cables wrong?

The battery isnt holding charge now, possible its now screwed from the extra voltage?

    Cheers

possibly, check aid levels in battery, may have boiled off and thats why its not holding charge, also pays to check voltage with multi meter, battery + to battery - and alternator + to battery -, also load it up and check, lights, heater fan ect.

is it 15v at idle or dose it rise with rpm?

    voltage regulator might be rooted

i have found that when nissan voltage regs go they always seem to overcharge. most others i find, dont charge. i would check that your getting a battery voltage signal into the alternator and if so then id say replace your alternator

or just fix the voltage regulator. Check the voltage levels when you rev it
