    Default not another RT142............

picked it up a coupla months ago for 700 big ones, has just been sitting getting infested with mice. finaly got a road worthy today

    good
    engine rebuild 40,000km ago
    mongose alarm installed
central locking (back doors dont work )
    aftermarket cruze control
4 new tires (not for long)
    some random ass steering wheel
had to install new rack ends for road worthy so put ajaps lock spacer in at the same time

    bad
obviously spent some time buy the coast, mostly just surface rust, 1 little hole around boot seal
    smells like mice
a/c compressor sezed, almost stalled the engine when i bridged it out

everything else is as you would expect for a 20 odd year old car

    plans
suspenton then mabe a bit of 22r lovin or save for new donk (1uz anyone????)
so far i have hds coil over kit with 8kg springs, ma61 camber plates, excel g mr2 fo front, and ae86 rear for the back, ajaps rca + rear adjustable spring seats and 6kg springs on the way (unsure how they will go with irs thoe) and some 15x8 +0 sport max wantaabee style rims

like i have read on this form many a times, learn to drive first then start to modofy so after i got the parts ill c where i think im at and go from there

    pics

guess whats in the big fragile box???

welcome to the club, keen to see those wheels fitted. I'm noticing more of these on the road, generally driven by elderly asian gentlemen.

For the money you spend on sportmaxx, you could probably get something more decent.
15x8 +0 will not fill the guards.
Other than that, 700 is an amazing starting price! Good work.
Look at Konakid's corona wagon for inspiration, it is real O.G material.

    Do not fill guards...
But they are better than stockies, 800 is very decent with tires.
