One way to tell a fake is the anodizing or finish is usually bright instead of matt...but again not always

I was at some Bosch training the other day and the trainer said they Bosch were having huge problems with fake sensors(airflow/coolant etc etc) he said they were an EXACT replica down to part numbers, Bosch cast in them etc, they cost a mere fraction of the cost of a genuine Bosch sensor. But as you could imagine they are shit, he had some data showing the output of the airflow meters compared to the respective genuine Bosch one, they weren't even close, imagine how your car would run with something like that.
I really hope that Cusco take legal action against this guy.
