Lots of Toyota throttle cables will fit at the pedal end. The main difference in them is length. I have been told, for a AE86 and 20valve, a KE70 throttle cable works well.

ive jsut put a 16V in my ke70 and i can tell you the ke70 one is too long.

you have to wrap it around the brake booster thus it makes the pedal real hard to push down.

i am yet to find a shorter one, but all cables are generally the same, its just a wire with a cylinder looking thing attached to the end.

you can always go and get a ke70/ae86 on shortened, or it prolly isnt that hard to shorten, just re crimp the threaded end on. and re crimp the cylinder looking thing...

i intend on just goin to the wreckers and finding a different one that looks to be a better length, just measure the length you need from the firewall and go searching!

EP91 Starlet is the go for a standard 16v 4AGE.

Usually though a KE70 cable is suited to 20v conversion because the cable usually needs to be looped around the front of the quads then back to the throttle lever thingo.

KE70 one is definitely too long for a 16v though.

There are cheap knock-off KE70 throttle cables new on e-bay. Not Toyota, but should work. I have one here I ordered just to look at it.
