this on my site shows a 0.8mm gasket which is 0.4mm thinner.

Where do you want it to end up?

im not sure but i wanted to add a mild cam and after market valve springs. i know the small port runs over 10:1 compression so i gather more than that? what do u guys recommend?

okok i have had my arm twisted. considering i now have a forged 4agze bottom end and a mtx-8 suit 4agze plus a guy i know is helping me out with a inlet, turbo manifold and dump pipe so im now going 4agte. soooooooo here i start again (sorry guys) i have a small port head (stock), forged 4agze bottom end, stock cutn shut inlet, turbo manifold, just got hold of a 04 wrx 1k old turbocharger and i have a t50 coming as soon as the guy pulls it out. anything else i need? i gather the small port head has the 4age stock cams. will i have to go gze cams? are small port and big port cams different?

If your going turbo, i'd have a think about going for a W series gearbox setup...

i cant. im lucky that T series fits my datto1000. do remember it only weighs 615kg so there would be less strain on the gearbox

gze cams are smallport cams. Bigport cams are bigger, 240/7.56mm vs 232/7.1mm or something. Sorta not worth the effort unless you don't mind swapping shims out.

When you say the diff fits, you mean it *just* fits with posi offset wheels or you can put 15x6.5 +18 and have it flush?

I reckon the car will end up at around 700kg

actually it doesnt fit. i compared them next to my 1000 diff and its a bit wider. i have sourced another diff. a 1200 ute diff. it can aparently take 225lb.ft. its a bolt in too. now i can have ratios from 3.9, 4.11& 4.875. i recon ill go with the 4.11. also does the stock small port inlet flow good enough for turbo?
