FFS I don't want socks.... did I not make that clear enough?....... anyway I know what Im going to use now, I just have to work out which size to go with as no doubt they will have to be ordered in from where ever I get them from.. I'm going to have to get some flanges with about 30mm of pipe or so made up also to suit the silver-top quads...
Anyone have anything like that lying about? been pretty wishful now.. lol

yeah been looking at them also.. I really like the look of the 4 individual K&N filters though... looks really clean, and different than most set ups - and they have the bell mouths...
I found a uni filter that has bell mouths also but not sure if it can be had in Oz as it wasn't on there Australian website, only the U.s one.

slight update on this....
Through supercheap the K&N bellmouth filters (3.5" round by 4" high/long) are $74 each -- WTF, it gets better though.
Through Repco they are $138 each, WTF WTF WTF.
Dont even want to know what autobarn wants for them...............
No fucking way I'm prepared to pay so much for some tiny ass air filter.
I found some filters the same style as the K&N's (minus the bellmouth inside) on ebay for like $15 each..... surely there is some more alternatives out there besides what has been mentioned already....

More surface area = win.
yeah, although how do these attach to the 4 ITB's ? is there any way of using a bell mouth stack or what not...
It looks as if it would easily hit the brake booster and another thing is I wouldn't be able to run the heat shielding that I have planned...
to add though, I was looking at a similar set-up with a K&N set-up, the top of the filter comes off so you can run trumpets inside through a base plate.. I don't really like the look of it though, its like V8 style.

i fitted the T3 velocity stacks inside the ITG filter. the filter is not in contact with the velocity stack bellmouth inlet at all.
here is my write up on this setup:

cool so they work the same as the alternative K&N set up I referred to...
In an ADM car though the booster is going to defiantly be in the way with that set-up

update - I found an alternative place that can get the K&N's for $59 (much more reasonable and I'm prepared to pay that much (just)) so I have them on order...
Awesome............
