    Default Haydn's 1973 KE20

    I'm bored so i thought i'd start a thread on my 73 ke20.
I bought if from melbourne for $400 a mate drove it over for me i was just going to clean it up enough to pass for rego but turned into a re-spray and started collecting bits for when it has S.A. reg as usual it has taken way longer than expected but im trying to get it on the road buy october.

    How i got it.

    Cleaned up a bit.

Prety much how it sits now just waiting to go to buddyparts to get a better passenger quarter welded on then its paint time.

Those wheel nuts look pretty trendy, Where did ya get em? Have to run longer studs on the front now with a slip on to clear my RX7 brakes.

Wheel nuts would be from Otomoto I'm guessing. KKR items

Liking this so much, had to say as I noticed I hadn't yet commented. I'm a bit of a KE20 nut

KE2# struts are pretty hard to come by. Why not use the ones in the car?

Yep kkr's from ottomoto wayno, yeah the struts are hard to find but i found a pair I dont want to used the originals coz i want original parts to bolt back in because pretty much guaranteed a defect in sa.
The car is at buddyparts at the moment getting some heavy quarter panel love from jay and nick its looking good so hopefully ill have this thing painted in the next few weeks, getting some cusco camber tops too to complete the front end setup and picked up some rcas as well
