looks sweet man! doesnt look cheap or nasty. Looks factory, stitching makes it look very similar to the S5 RX7 dash style
Hey guys,
Having recently done my entire interior, I was asked this evening the usual Who? Where? How much?
This got me thinking that there are probably plenty of people wanting and certainly in need of a dash re-cover. So I spoke to my trimmer and he said he would be happy to do it
So.............. Would anyone be keen to have this done?
My suggestion would be to use Vinyl for ease of cleaning etc. Leather is a pain as you have to buy an entire Hide etc and unless you are doing a full retrim like I did it simply isn't financially viable. Suede simply gets difficult to clean.
The dash will have the cracks etc filled (they all have them haha), but the usual sag above the cluster is unable to be rectified due to the brittle nature of a 27yo dash pad. Once retrimmed you don't notice it as much anyway
There will be a main double stitch line running across the dash (required) and a small second stitch line underneath that you don't see unless you are laying on your back with a gearstick in your ear
If using Vinyl (suggested) you can have it in basically any colour you like, though a suspect most will opt for a black, blue, grey or even brown.
If you would like to have this done, you will need to get your dash pad to ME and I will sort out the rest for you. My trimmer is far too busy to be dealing with people over the net etc. He simply doesn't have the patience for it. It will take about a week to get your dash back looking brilliant
I apologise if this is against site rules, I am doing this as a service to you guys, so mods, if I have done the wrong thing here please do let me know via PM.
Here are pics of MY Dash. I did this dash MYSELF with some guidance from my trimmer, so lets put it this way, yours won't be any worse lol.
PRICE $300 (Price based on average amount of repair work, please send pic of your dash via PM to confirm if your dash is average or exceptionally shagged )
Cheers

ALWAYS LOOKING FOR KE25 COROLLA PARTS
Looks pretty decent man, I had my dash restored a few months back and it wasn't cheap.. almost too much actually, not sure why I went though with it........ I'm sure this process would be considerably cheaper.

Oh shit, I didn't mention a price hahaha.
With "Usual" repairs (few cracks etc) all done it will cost you $300.
If you have a good condition UNcracked/undamaged dash the price will drop. and as expected if you dash is well shagged, the price would increase marginally. A pic via PM of damage will be enough to confirm what is deemed "usual"
I have attached a pic of my dash prior to covering, it shows the 2 bigger cracks (it had 3)

where abouts are you?
Sorry, I probably should have mentioned that too lol.
I am located in the Gold Coast hinterland. South east QLD.
my trimmer just covered my dash in carpet. Not flocked just thin carpet found on the door trims. This is considerably cheaper and it looks quiet nice actually.
But riversides dash wins, looks so good
