Default I dont need no instructions to know how to rock

This is my build thread. I havent been on here very long. but whatever. I also havent done much to the car since I just got it in my shop 3 days ago.

    anyway its a te72.

I picked it up from a junkyard for 200 bucks. and it had a running 3tc in it. been sitting there since 1998.

pulled the 3tc and sold it. bought a gts ae86 shell that was rotting away and had no engine. stole the rearend and front subframe/suspension. steering shaft and whatnot.

    junked the shell.

then moved the e7 into my shop. started cleaning the crap out of the engine bay. shit was nasty. i didnt take pictures of it when I started. but here are a few that i took during the process.

then I started to seam weld it since the pressure washer was taking the seam seal off..

    then my welder broke.

I was going to put a 20v in it and just rip on that for a bit.

but have since decided that I am going to run this 16v

it has a built bottom end with oversized fancy pistons and new seals and junk.
I am going to make the head fancy and clean them both up nicely.
oh I also have an hks supercharger for the 16v. which was really the reason i decided on the 16v.
Ill get pictures and shit tomorrow or sometime.
I also have the paint for the engine bay already. its gonna be stupid.
leaving the exterior the way it is for a bit to keep the cops off my nuts. since its going to be a mostly street drifter. just gonna sit it on the ground and put some 14x10s on it. maybe 15s for cruisin. if I can swing a good deal on some works.

gonna get good parts and not make it all junky.. hopefully.
I also will be making some sort of sweet ass coilovers and shit. will be buying some ajps stuff soon.
then I will drive it into the ground. fuck yeah.

im in utah. in the usa. these things are actually pretty rare here. I had a friend tell me that he thought he saw one in a junk yard one night. so the next day i bought it. haha the body is super clean too. well I mean like no rust or anything. and all cars in utah have rediculous amounts of rust. Im hoping to get my welder fixed tonight, like in 15 minutes. so I can finish welding.

the only problem with this car is that it was auto. and I cant find a clutch pedal. so Ill probably just buy an aftermarket pedal assembly and make it work.

those tire marks are from a chevy truck my friends had at their hotrod shop(where i kept the car for a few days) they put a 350 in it and decided to test out the power. haha

anyway this is my daily and its a bag of dicks.

this used to be my drift car and it was awesome, even though it was a bag of dicks.

god damn i miss driving that car. basically the story goes i kept overheating the rotory(my own stupidity) and blew it the fuck up.
then I decided I need to go back to school so I can make some real money. and do something with my life. so I put the vert on hold and decided that buying 18 inch tires is too expensive. so I got the corolla to drive and shit so I dont go crazy. since drifting has basically been my life since 1999. 14 and 15 inch tires are a ton cheaper then 18s.

so I have spent more on the corolla then I would have on the fc. but corollas are fun as shit to drive. and its going to be my daily. the fc is a hard car to daily. especially when your bodykit is about an inch off the ground. so thats where I stand. Ill try and get some pictures tonight.

    thanks bros.

i finished seam welding my engine bay on the e7.

not much to take pictures of. it looks like a seam welded engine bay.

here are crappy pictures of the sc.

my friend and I powder coat stuff, so all my junk will be powder coated. including the supercharger. all the mounts for everything and the valve covers. not sure what color i will do.

but here is a picture of my front suspension on the daily s13.

its a crappy picture. i shoudl probably get a real camera one of these days.
im a fan of the gold with gold holographic flake that the tension rods and knuckles have on them. but not sure if I want to go that route again with another car. and im not sure if it will match the engine bay.

better pictures of the color. kinda
