HAHAHAHAHA that actually looks awesome.
you need to start with something thats already 2 doors. coupes have longer doors so you dont have to plate behind the front doors to fill them out unless your really short and sit really far fowrd.
A sedan without B and C pillars will lose pretty much all structual rigidity, If I was you.... Make it into some kind of targa top or if it being a utility is a must cut a section out of the roof and move it forward weld the rear doors and move the C pillar to about half way down the rear passenger window line, leaving the back seat area and boot as the tray...........Or go as per picture and looking like Peter Falconio's ute

Will have to try and see. But yeah, will be welding in a cage from b pillar forward and cutting the rooof behind the b pillar. Will start a build thread soon. Thanks for the help guys.
+1 on start with a coupe
have a gander at this, 31 ute!
would probably be the same steps to turning the corona into a ute.
That r31 is a more realistic example of what i want to do.
As much as i would like to cut just behind B pillar, the seat will not go far back enough.
Will have to dummy it up when we get working.
needs finishing... but it was a bit of fun and might give you an idea of the possibilities...
Looks good! See how coupes have such a long door? Doesn't leave much room for the ute-ness.
Brumbys have a rather long door/short tray ive noticed aswell, this will be cool planning to slide it ?
