John Smith's TTA 3-door used a modified OEM airbox. Note the extra holes drilled in cover and opened end on chamber.



The ETCC winning 2-door of Antonin Charouz had an open pipe with a mesh "filter" (good for 192hp with std cast manifolds).
(think the TTA Corolla GT's used a set up like this? Willowfan may know?)

I have a set of these ROH rims with the centre cap covers that arnt shown in the picture above.
Also due to my 4age dying i am parting ways with my corolla so would be happy to sell to anyone that understands how rare and valuable these will be in the future.

Not much to report at this stage, driving it as my daily, so loving the attention it gets and how much fun it is to drive..............but needs more power.....much more power.....did some one say 2JZGTE?.......no only joking!!!

I am keen to power it up soon weather that be a full built engine or a turbo addition, not sure yet but it needs to be faster!!!

One update.....the blue cam wheels shown in the image of my engine...dont buy them or use them, they are being sold on Ebay cheap, but they are crap, they are a dual fit cam wheel meaning both will fit either intake or exhaust, both sets of hole flogged out with in 2 weeks of use, both times they were torqued up to correct specs and lock tight, contacted the seller and was told they had the one, two warranty, once you use them it is too bad!!!! Not impressed

bummer. time for a decent set, even second hand if they are in good condition. need more pictures though!

Ive had that happen to me, exhaust cam gear loosend and timing went way out, lucky thee things ar non interference engines.
