rwd pulley has a different offset, probably the easiest way to get one is to order an aftermarket one off T3 or something.
I don't think there are any significant differences between a 4ac and a 4age pump if they are both rwd
Ke70, smallport 4age.
hi all, i got a rear wheel drive waterpump for my 4ag. it didint come with a pulley
but i went to put a fwd pulley on it and it doesnt line up with either of the crank pulleys, its inbetween.
just wondering if the pump i have is wrong or if i need a rwd pulley are they different?
the pump looks very similar to the 4ac pump on my ae71, could this be the problem? that someones supplied me a 4ac pump ratrher than a 4ag rwd pump?
cheers

Only difference ive seen between the 4AC and 4AG RWD pumps is that some of the impellers have been different, but not enough to change operation, and it hasnt been consistent, so could just be the aftermarket factor.
Another thing, 4AC pumps are made to fit with the plastic 4ac timing cover. On a 4AGE if your using the metal backing cover for the timing cover you need to file a small amount of material from the pump.
I would order a new alloy pulley if it was me.
