Default Ke70 lock diff and Lowering.

    Yo guys,

Just wanted to lock up my diff, once i take it out, what do i do from there, Where do i weld?

Also how bad is it to cut the stock springs done it in one of my old ke70s didnt do much but wreck the tyre cause it needed a wheel aligment.

    Cheers

    As above.

Would be better putting Falcon springs in it. But it will still be shit.

Cutting stock springs is pretty poo. I recon a KE70 will handle better with uncut springs than standard cut ones. Because think about it, doesn't stiffen up the car at all, its still just spongy springs except now you've even put the shocks out of their proper effective range(assuming you're still running stock springs too).

cutting springs does make them stiffer, however it'll make the ride shit, if you can team em up with some short stroke shocks it's a bit better, i still wouldn't recommend it

just make sure the spider gears aren't going to move round and you'll be sweet, make sure it's a nice strong weld. have you driven a locker before?? definately gonna make the 4k more fun just have to be a but careful in the wet haha
