    Default Differential Gear Ratio

Before I have a 4k engine on my KE70. Now I have a 4age BT using a T50. Right now, I'm still using the stock differential on my KE70 which is a 8 bolter. I think the stock gear ratio of the KE70 is 3.9. I'm planning to change to a 10 bolter off a RT140 Corona which I think has a 4.1 or 4.3 gear ratio.

Question is what can i expect after changing differential in terms of performance? Torque? Quarter mile time? Currently using a 15x7 rims with 185/55/15 tires.

    thanks in advance~

the higher the number the quicker the acceleration. i went from a 4.3 to a 4.8 and went 1.5 seconds quicker around mallala. Makes a big difference!

Another question. Can I install a OEM lsd from a ae86 to the rt140 differential? Also change the ring and pinion?

The upper diff is from the rt140 and the lower one is from a ae86. Both are identical 10 bolter toyota diff. Just wondering if the parts inside the diff can be interchange.
